2. Use of data and legal bases

We process the name and contact details, company information and message content you provide in order to respond to enquiries, identify service needs and prepare proposals. Providing this information is voluntary, but without the necessary details we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal.

The processing of company contact-person data and general enquiries is based on our legitimate interest in managing enquiries concerning our services and preparing business relationships. When you are personally a party to a contract, processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or on the performance of that contract.

When a web connection is established, servers process the IP address and technical request data sent by the browser in order to deliver the website. Processing for website operation and security is based on our legitimate interest.

3. Analytics, cookies and chat

Google Analytics 4 measures website use and helps us improve the site. It processes information such as page views, usage events, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers only after you give statistics consent through Cookiebot. This processing is based on consent.

Tawk.to chat loads only after you give marketing consent through Cookiebot. Without consent, the chat is not displayed and Tawk.to does not track your visit. You may decline the services and change your choices or withdraw consent in the cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

The Tawk.to chat may be answered by a person or an AI bot. The service processes the chat content, contact details you provide, and technical visit and identifier data in order to provide a response and handle your matter. Producing an AI response may require the conversation to be transferred to an AI provider used by Tawk.to. The legal bases described in section 2 apply to chat enquiries. The chat does not make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookiebot processes your cookie choices, consent identifier, timestamp and technical browser information in order to follow your choices and demonstrate consent. This processing is based on compliance with legal obligations. Cookie providers, purposes and retention periods are listed in the cookie declaration below.

4. Data retention

We retain enquiry and chat data for the duration of handling the matter and any related follow-up. When the matter has ended and the data is no longer needed to manage a customer relationship or comply with a legal obligation, we delete it. We do not retain conversations for unrelated future purposes. Formspree retains form submission history for 30 days on the service tier we use.

Google Analytics 4 is set to retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. New activity resets the user-data retention period. These settings do not apply to aggregated statistical reports.

Cookiebot consent logs are retained for 12 months in accordance with the service terms.

5. Service providers and international transfers

We use Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive to store company documents. Formspree processes information submitted through the contact form and forwards enquiries to us. Personal data may also be processed by communications and hosting providers. The website is hosted on ChatGPT Sites. Cookiebot manages cookie consent and Google Tag Manager controls website tags. Google Analytics 4 processes analytics data, and Tawk.to and its subprocessors provide the chat on the basis of consent.

Website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends Google the IP address and technical request data. The purpose is to display the website text.

When these services are used, data may be processed outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Transfers are based on an applicable European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for participating recipients, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where necessary, supplementary safeguards.

6. Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure of data or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest on grounds relating to your particular situation. The right to data portability applies to automated processing of data you have provided when the processing is based on consent or a contract. The availability of each right depends on the applicable legal conditions and the legal basis for processing.

Send your request to info@targetinteractive.fi. We generally respond within one month. If we need additional time permitted by law, we will inform you and explain the reason within that first month.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman if you believe that the processing infringes data protection law.
